RHOTEC GmbH was founded in 1990 in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz region and today employs 28 people. The company develops and manufactures its own CNC and HSC engraving and milling machines, including the Hybrid 900 with 5-axis machining and a working area of 820 x 900 x 275 mm. In addition, RHOTEC plans and builds special-purpose machines such as HSC machines, chain conveyors and CNC embossing machines, including CAD planning, electronics and PLC programming as well as commissioning. A key focus is the service, repair and maintenance of PASO engraving/milling machines (Profitec, Profispeed, Porta, Micro, Universal) with spare parts service and retrofit upgrades. Materials machined include steel up to 70 HRC, aluminium, non-ferrous metals, graphite and plastics. The company also carries out electrical installations, photovoltaic projects, lighting and safety technology as well as industrial and control technology, throughout Europe and internationally.

Founded in Bad Lauterberg (Hauptstraße 168) by Röger, Helbing and Omland (RHO); PC manufacturing, production of system components for Kuhlmann Werkzeugmaschinen, training centre, Novell network installations.
- 1995
Relocation to Barbis (Barbiser Straße); first work on Kuhlmann engraving/milling machines.
