RHS Maschinen- u. Anlagenbau GmbH, based in Ahaus-Wüllen (Harmate 42), develops and manufactures systems for drying biomass and sewage sludge as well as rotary valve airlocks for feeding, discharge and dosing of bulk materials, granulates and pellets. The product portfolio comprises the RHINO® agitator dryer for the industrial, municipal and agricultural sectors; among other things, green waste, biowaste, sewage sludge, compost, vegetable residues, potatoes, residual waste and iron hydroxide are dried. In the municipal sector, the RHINO® dryer is designed for decentralised sewage sludge utilisation, preparing sewage sludge to be market-ready and kiln-ready. Services include maintenance as well as material samples to test drying suitability. Reference projects include four RHINO® agitator dryers for EVS – Entsorgungsverband Saar in Saarbrücken for the processing of organic biomass, and, in the first expansion stage, six RHINO® 10000 municipal systems for sewage sludge drying for ERZO ARA in Oftringen (Switzerland). Deliveries and projects in Austria are also documented.
