About us

Richard Cermak Minitaschenlampen is a family-owned company from Pforzheim that has been manufacturing mini flashlights (penlights) in pen format since 1973. The products are offered as industrial penlights, diagnostic lights and business card lights in many versions and colors, equipped with white LED, warm-white LED or incandescent bulb. For ophthalmic diagnostics, LEDs are used that have been validated for photobiological safety in accordance with EN 62471:2009-03. Production and design take place entirely in Pforzheim in Baden-Württemberg; the company holds its own patents and focuses on durable products. The lights are fitted with high-quality VARTA alkaline batteries made in Germany and can be finished with a customer logo on request. End customers come from the medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, industrial, promotional products and trades sectors. The company generates its entire production electricity via a photovoltaic system on the company roof.
