About RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION

RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION develops, manufactures and sells drive and damping technology components: frictional shaft-hub connections (Locking Assemblies, clamping elements, shrink discs), elastic and torsionally rigid couplings, coupling-brake systems as well as damping components such as friction dampers (Friction Springs), industrial dampers and shock-absorbing elements. The products are used in mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, process technology, power generation (including hydropower), raw material extraction, the steel and metal industry, conveying technology as well as food and beverage production; Friction Springs are also used for the seismic protection of buildings and critical infrastructure. The portfolio comprises standard products in numerous sizes – for example shrink discs with outer diameters up to 790 mm and clamping elements up to 1,050 mm outer diameter – as well as customer-specific special solutions with provision of CAD data and technical support. Manufacturing materials are alloyed steel, stainless steel and plastics such as Perbunan (NBR) and polyurethane for coupling spiders and safety covers. According to the company, RINGFEDER can look back on more than 100 years of experience and supplies customers worldwide.
