Company
Rixen & Kaul is a company founded in 1988 by two enthusiastic cyclists, now family-run in its second generation, headquartered in Solingen. Under the KLICKfix brand, the company develops and manufactures quick-release solutions and accessories for bicycles, e-scooters, kick scooters and folding bikes, including handlebar, saddle and luggage rack adapters as well as bicycle baskets, racks, phonepads and a waterproof bikepacking series. The entire process is controlled at the Solingen site: from the initial idea through product development and in-house prototype and tool making to manufacturing, assembly and packaging. Materials used include aluminium, for example for lightweight basket frames, as well as thermoformed plastics. A cooperation with Reisenthel complements the range with textile baskets and bags such as Bikebasket, Funbag and Roomy with the KLICKfix coupling.
