RLS Wacon has been developing and manufacturing water analysis and analytical instruments at a single site in Hildesheim since 1975. The range includes more than 120 products: manual test kits of the CALDUR® brand for 29 parameters in five measurement methods, automatic online analyzers of the SYCON series (including total hardness, p-value, silica, iron) and online hardness monitors of the LIMES series. The value chain ranges from the development of instruments, reagents and measurement methods, through in-house electronics production of circuit boards and reagent manufacturing, to assembly, filling, finishing and testing – every instrument and every batch is tested before delivery. Fields of application include steam boiler and power plant technology, drinking water supply, pool & spa, industrial water, aquaristics, food and wastewater. A partner network of more than 20 sales partners in Europe, Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa distributes the products worldwide. A second business unit covers sensor technology, lighting and signalling for escalator technology as well as radar motion sensors for automation.
