Röben Tonbaustoffe GmbH is a brick manufacturer that has been family-run for six generations, headquartered in Zetel, Lower Saxony. The company produces hard-fired clinker bricks and clinker slip tiles for facades, clay roof tiles, highly durable porcelain stoneware for industrial floors, as well as precast brick elements and shaped bricks. The raw material is natural brick clay, which is transformed into extremely durable building materials through shaping and hard firing – the classic process steps of earth, water, air and fire. The porcelain stoneware plant in Zetel uses, among other equipment, a 75-tonne press. The product range includes series such as L-Max (62-cm long-format slip tiles), ESBJERG, DORNUM, WIESMOOR hand-molded facing bricks, BERGAMO and ABERDEEN, as well as solar mounting accessories for PV systems on tiled roofs. Customers include the construction industry, architecture, residential and commercial construction; services include an architect service, client consulting and a house configurator. Röben supplies national projects and international reference objects both domestically and abroad.
