Röhr GmbH, with its europlac brand, is a family-owned company based in Tettnang that manufactures genuine wood veneered products for interior design, architecture and furniture construction. Veneered panel materials are produced in customer formats (raw and finished sizes, thicknesses up to 60 mm) from chipboard, MDF, plywood, multiplex, blockboard and mineral fire-protection boards, finished with over 140 genuine wood veneers. The value chain includes veneer composition, pressing on short-cycle and veneer presses, edge trimming, calibration, automated sanding, UV lacquering, varnishing, UV digital printing and laser processing. Series production takes place in Topoľčany (Slovakia) at europlac s.r.o. on around 4 production lines; with its own plywood production, a 1.5-MW wood boiler for wood waste incineration and 500-kW photovoltaics. Fields of application include shop fitting and trade fair construction, hotel interiors, public buildings, window and facade construction, fire protection doors, acoustics, sauna/wellness as well as ship and yacht interior fitting. Reference projects include KaDeWe Berlin, Würth Haus Rorschach and the Liebherr Visitor Center. In Tettnang the company operates the europlacHOUSE showroom for consulting and material creation.
