About ROFRA GmbH
Since 1923, ROFRA GmbH has been manufacturing primary packaging made from tubular glass for customers from the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chromatography and food industries. Glass tubes with diameters of 8 to 34 mm of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd hydrolytic class in clear and amber glass are processed, sourced exclusively from certified suppliers, in standard and special dimensions as well as to customer drawings. Machine production takes place in computer-controlled systems with automatic tube feeding, in-line printing, a cooling oven and fully automatic packaging in a dust-free room. In addition, there is a traditional glassblowing workshop for chemical-pharmaceutical glassware and laboratory articles, an in-house toolmaking department and a printing department for screen printing with ceramic firing colors and precious metal preparations. The company completes articles with closure and dosing systems, handles packaging and logistics, and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The site is Cursdorf in the Thuringian district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt.
