About Rohr Bagger
Rohr Bagger GmbH, based in Plankstadt, has specialized for over 40 years in the design and production of extraction equipment for wet mining of sand and gravel. The product portfolio comprises electrically powered land-based and floating bucket ladder dredgers as well as floating grab dredgers in jib, gantry-frame and catamaran configurations, including systems for automatic, unmanned barge loading via sensor technology. The plants extract from dredging depths of 10 to over 100 meters and can be equipped with dewatering screen machines, crushers, fine sand recovery and floating conveyor systems; hydraulic motor grabs and buckets come from in-house production. Manufacturing is in steel construction as special machinery in single units and small series, complemented by 3D design, strength calculations and FEM. In addition to new builds, the company offers services such as inspection (dredger check), maintenance, modernization, spare parts and on-site conversions. More than 40 employees work at the Plankstadt site; customers are located in Europe, especially Germany, as well as worldwide.
