In addition, special vehicles for agricultural transport and live animal transport are produced. The company's roots date back to 1850, when a smithy was founded in Straubing. After an insolvency petition by Rohr Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH in 2016, the company was taken over by the Austrian Kässbohrer Transport Technik and renamed Rohr Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH. In addition to new vehicle manufacturing, the company offers customer service, spare parts, repairs, vehicle refurbishment and a service network.
