About Rohrwerk
Rohrwerk GmbH was founded in 1998 as a service company for maintenance work in the process industry. The company eliminates product leaks on valves, flanges and pipelines during ongoing operation – from vacuum to 240 bar and from –150 °C to +700 °C. Other core services are hot tapping and line stop (drilling under pressure up to 100 bar and 370 °C), pipe freezing on lines from DN 10 to DN 1000, and chip-removing on-site machining with mobile facing lathes (machining diameter 0–6500 mm), milling beams, drilling equipment and two-part pipe cutting machines up to DN 2500. The range is complemented by bolting technology, sealing and testing of tube bundles, coatings against corrosion and erosion, engineering and assembly with specially equipped service vehicles, as well as sales and rental of machines and tools. Customers come from refineries, petrochemical plants, power stations, municipal utilities, waste incineration plants as well as paper and sugar factories. Locations are Pulheim (headquarters) and Langquaid (southern site).

Leak sealing
Elimination of product leaks on plant components during ongoing operation, from vacuum to 240 bar and –150 °C to +700 °C.
Hot tapping and line stop
Drilling into pressurized pipelines, vessels and tanks up to max. 100 bar and 370 °C.
Pipe freezing
Deep-freezing of liquids to form a pressure-bearing plug, carried out on lines from DN 10 to DN 1000.
Chip-removing on-site machining
Mobile turning, milling, drilling, grinding and pipe cutting for repairing sealing surfaces directly at the plant.
Coatings against corrosion and erosion
Repair pastes and wraps for pumps, valves, pipes, coolers and heat exchangers, temperature-resistant from –40 °C to +140 °C.
Tube bundle testing
Pneumatic and hydraulic individual tube testing with special plugs up to 63 mm tube inner diameter and max. 450 bar.
