Rola Weinbrennerei und Likörfabrik GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business founded in 1946, headquartered in Niederhatzkofen near Rottenburg an der Laaber. The company produces nearly all common types of spirits according to its own recipes, including liqueurs, bitters, gin, Korn (grain spirit), fruit and pomace brandies, rum, Weinbrand, whisky and vodka. With an annual capacity of around 50 million bottles (0.7 l), Rola operates primarily as a manufacturer of private labels for discounters and European retail chains; its main customer is Aldi. The company has been certified to IFS Food since 2003 and additionally organic-certified since 2017.
