About Rolltec

Rolltec GmbH, based in Krefeld, is a roll manufacturer that designs, calculates and produces temperature-controlled rolls for the plastics industry. The product range includes smoothing rolls, cooling rolls, heating rolls, chill rolls, laminator rolls, embossing and matt rolls as well as counter-bending rolls, which are manufactured at the plant in Torun (Poland) and used worldwide. The rolls are constructed with double walls and a degressive steel helical guide, offered in single- or dual-circuit designs, and statically and dynamically balanced. The outer shell is made of steel 42CrMo4 or S355J2G or copper; surfaces are hardened, hard or bright chrome-plated, nickel-plated, or mechanically or electrolytically matt-finished. In addition to patented in-house developments such as the Rollmatic coating, the company also reproduces and improves customer-specific designs and manufactures custom-made products. The design is carried out with respect to strength and thermodynamics using computer-aided analysis technology.
