About ROMIRA
ROMIRA GmbH is a compounder specializing in technical plastics, headquartered in Pinneberg near Hamburg. Since 1991, the company has produced technical compounds and blends as part of the ROWA GROUP and develops customer-specific specialty products based on a modular system for coloring, modification and optimization. The portfolio comprises three product brands: ROTEC® (compounds based on a single material such as ABS, ASA, PC, PMMA, SMMA, PA, PET or PBT), ROMILOY® (blends of multiple materials, e.g. PC/ABS, PC/ASA, ASA/PA, PA/ABS, PC/PET, PC/PBT, PC/PET) and LURANYL® (PPE blends with impact-resistant PS or PA). The compounds are manufactured for injection molding and extrusion applications and are, among other things, glass-fiber reinforced, mineral-filled, flame-retardant, UV-stabilized, impact-resistant, easy-flowing or transparent. LURANYL® KR is certified to KTW, ACS and WRAS (up to 85 °C) and is designed for the water treatment, electronics and automotive sectors as well as medical and laboratory technology. Tailored to customer requirements, ROMIRA supplies batch sizes from smallest quantities to silo truckloads; specialty products are produced within 14 to 21 days. Customers include industries such as automotive, electrical & electronics, construction, medical and laboratory technology as well as horticulture and agriculture.
