About RTA
Roth-Technik Austria (RTA) is a manufacturer of muffler and exhaust after-treatment systems such as catalytic converters and exhaust systems for motor vehicles. The owner-managed company in the sheet metal sector also offers holistic product and system development and processes stainless steel sheets into welded assemblies. The group consists of RTA GmbH with its headquarters and production in St. Aegyd am Neuwalde (Lower Austria), RTA Entwicklung GmbH in Rastatt (product development) and RTA Technik GmbH in Lampertheim (production). With around 200 employees and revenue of approximately EUR 126 million, RTA is a supplier to the automotive industry. At the main St. Aegyd site, a large photovoltaic system on the production roofs generates renewable energy; material efficiency and waste reduction are integral parts of production management. The roots of the St. Aegyd site date back to the Iron & Steel Industry Company of the Fischer brothers at the end of the 18th century.
