Rothenpieler specializes in the machining of extremely large workpieces. On 12,000 m² of production space at the Burbach and Erndtebrück-Schameder sites, 15 modern, digitalized CNC machines and machining centers process workpieces weighing from 150 kg to 150 tonnes and measuring from 1 m to 15 m. The range of services includes CNC drilling and milling with travel distances up to 15,000 × 6,000 mm as well as vertical turning up to 8,200 mm turning diameter. Materials machined include steel and iron castings, steel including high-strength steels, and non-ferrous metals. In addition, the company handles material procurement of forged parts, castings, and welded constructions, surface coating, corrosion protection, welding work, heat treatment, assembly through to completion, documented inspections, and the entire logistics including customs clearance and just-in-time delivery.
