About Rotoclear
Rotoclear GmbH, headquartered in Heidelberg, develops, manufactures and distributes rotating sight windows and camera systems for optical process monitoring in machine tools. The self-cleaning rotating sight window Rotoclear S3 uses centrifugal force and purge air to provide a clear, strut-free view of machining processes despite coolant and flying chips; with an installation height of only 33.5 mm, it can be integrated into standard door systems. The camera systems C Basic, C2 and C Pro deliver real-time insights in up to 4K from up to two perspectives, including network streaming, zoom and, in the case of the C Pro, seamless ring-buffer recording (Visual Backup) for error analysis. The portfolio is complemented by Visiport replacement kits for retrofitting existing machines, original accessories and spare parts, online configurators, and personal support with configuration, installation, software, repair and maintenance. The products are aimed at OEMs and users of CNC machining centers and lathes; distribution is handled by certified partners worldwide. The containment capability of the S3 was demonstrated by ballistic impact tests according to DIN EN ISO 16090-1 and DIN EN ISO 23125.
