About RS Kunststofftechnik
RS Kunststofftechnik, based in Werdohl (Sauerland), specializes in corrosion protection elements for bolted connections, in particular screw protection caps for high bolt protrusions (telescopic caps), lock nuts and washer covers. The products are manufactured by plastic injection molding; part weights of up to 600 g and virtually any combination of cap height, washer height and washer diameter can be realized. The plastics used are LD-PE, PP, PA 6.6, TEEE and ETFE with varying temperature and media resistance; the standard color is RAL 9005, and other RAL Classic shades with UV stabilizer are possible. In-house toolmaking enables fast special solutions as well as sample and prototype production already in the development phase. Customers come from the automotive sector (sampling according to VDA/PPAP including IMDS), mechanical engineering and general industrial plant construction. Approximately 90 % of the protection caps are supplied from stock on a customer- and order-specific basis.

Elastomeric thermoplastic material with temperature resistance up to 160 °C.

Highly resistant fluoroplastic for short-term temperatures up to 220 °C and aggressive media.
