RSGetriebe, based in Sonthofen, is a specialist for custom gearboxes and drive systems. The company develops and manufactures special gearboxes such as extruder gearboxes, flat gearboxes, test bench gearboxes, control gears, heavy-duty gearboxes, low-backlash planetary gearboxes, spindle drives, turbo gearboxes and transfer cases as well as flywheel masses according to individual requirements. Production covers the entire value chain from raw material to the finished gear; in addition, RSGetriebe offers contract manufacturing of gears and drive elements. Customers can be found in drive technology, in the construction and construction machinery sector, in energy systems, in e-mobility, in plastics machinery (extruders), in the machine tool industry and in test bench technology. All gearbox components pass through an ISO 9001:2008 certified production facility with a modern machine park and careful assembly. The origins date back to 1949, when Riedel AG in Immenstadt produced the light motorcycle Imme R 100.

History

Foundation of Riedel AG by Norbert Riedel in Immenstadt; started with the production of the light motorcycle Imme R 100.
