About RUD Chains Ltd

RUD Chains Ltd is the British branch of the RUD Group, a manufacturer of chain technology with over 150 years of history. The product portfolio includes round steel chains and wear-resistant industrial and hoist chains, more than 1,000 lifting and lashing points, conveying, tool and drive systems, as well as tyre protection chains including ROTOGRIP solutions. The products are manufactured in Germany (Made in Germany) and distributed via the site in Whitstable in the United Kingdom. Target industries include offshore oil & gas, maritime subsea lifting applications – for example with the RUD ROV-Hook for the safe rotation and positioning of loads underwater –, material handling, conveying technology and construction. In addition to distribution, the team offers product and application consulting as well as engineering of customised solutions; delivery takes place UK-wide. A distinctive feature is the pink powder coating of the RUD ICE chains.
