RÜHL AG & Co. Chemische Fabrik KG is a family-owned mid-sized corporate group headquartered in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt am Main, with a tradition of more than 80 years in the production of chemical products. The subsidiary RÜHL PUROMER GmbH has been developing and producing tailor-made polyurethane systems for more than half a century and is one of the leading independent PU system houses in Central Europe. The portfolio covers flexible foam, integral foam, rigid foam, rigid integral foam, fiber composite systems (LFI, RTM, wet pressing), compact and RIM systems, coating and skin-forming systems as well as PU high-performance elastomers. The formulations are produced on demand in batch sizes from 50 to 20,000 kg; sample parts, prototypes, zero and small series are produced in the company's own machine pilot plant. The second business unit, Cleaning + Disinfection, handles the filling, capping and labeling of liquids in containers from 1 to 190 liters, also as contract production for medical devices. Customers include, among others, the automotive, rail vehicle, aircraft, construction, medical and furniture industries. Sales and service offices in Taicang (China) and North America near Detroit complement the global offering.

The RÜHL Group has been ISO 9001 certified since 1997 (currently ISO 9001:2015, since August 2018); the Cleaning + Disinfection business unit is additionally certified to EN ISO 13485:2016 for medical devices, and the filling systems are GMP-qualified. A 100 % outgoing goods inspection as well as comprehensive material testing (tensile strength, Shore hardness, UV weathering, fire behavior, NIR spectroscopy) accompany production.
