About RUMP STRAHLANLAGEN

RUMP STRAHLANLAGEN GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1969 by Konrad Rump in Salzkotten and develops and manufactures custom blasting systems for shot blasting and surface technology. The portfolio includes wire mesh belt, overhead rail, roller conveyor, pipe, trough and caterpillar track blasting systems as well as free-blast systems and free-blast booths, plus compact systems for rapid customer requirements. The systems operate using compressed-air and wheel-blast processes and are built with high material quality to ensure long service lives, economical energy consumption and efficient use of blasting media. Applications include the removal of scale, moulding sand, rust and paint layers, shot peening for cold work hardening, rounding of burrs and edges, and surface preparation for coatings, including sweeping of hot-dip galvanized surfaces. In addition, the company offers retrofit and modernization of blasting systems – including third-party systems – as well as maintenance and spare parts service from a single source. More than 90 employees from engineering, technology, electronics, industrial mechanics and administration work at the Salzkotten site.
