S-CONNECT Vertriebs GmbH is the Austrian branch of SPHINX Computer Vertriebs-GmbH, a distributor of industrial automation products and services founded in Germany in 1989. The product range includes programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI), SCADA systems, embedded and industrial PCs, industrial network technology (Ethernet switches, routers, gateways, media converters), embedded device servers, KVM solutions as well as sensors, actuators and industrial automation software. The business model is based on four pillars: classic distribution, logistics, project management and Built-to-Order service; in addition, the company offers system integration, technical support and training. The SPHINX Group distributes products from the manufacturers MOXA, Advantech, ADDER, Belden/NetModule, AKCP, Barix, Lanner, Lantronix, Legrand/Raritan, InHand, Kerlink and others. With headquarters and main warehouse in Laudenbach near Frankfurt am Main, the group operates at 19 locations across Europe, including Vienna, Montaigu, Camberley, Barcelona, Milano, Baar and Helsingborg. Customer industries include manufacturing, transport and rail, energy and oil/gas, healthcare, retail, control rooms and data centers. In fiscal year 2023, the group employed over 100 staff and generated revenue of around 60 million euros.
