About S&F Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau
S&F Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH is a mechanical engineering company based in Saxony, located in the Chemnitz industrial area Nordost-Quadrant. Emerged in the summer of 1994 from parts of the former Wirkbau-Textilmaschinenbau GmbH Chemnitz, the company today employs around 40 permanent staff including apprentices. The manufacturing spectrum comprises fixtures for machining processes, assembly, welding and testing as well as measuring fixtures and gauges, cutting and forming tools, special machinery and automation technology, as well as highly precise precision parts. Production is carried out using modern EDM, CNC milling, drilling and grinding technology as well as cycle-controlled turning; by combining mechanical CNC machining and electro-erosive processes such as wire and sinker EDM, complex individual and series parts made of metal are produced. Heat treatments and coatings are performed in cooperation with experienced partners. Customers include, among others, the automotive industry, mechanical and textile machinery engineering, and the forming industry.
