About Sustainable Hydrogen
s-H2 – Sustainable Hydrogen GmbH, headquartered in Berlin, is an operating company for lighthouse projects to build and scale a hydrogen economy based on renewable energies. The company develops electrolysis projects, including a 10 MW electrolyser at the Berlin energy site Reuter West/Ruhleben, whose hydrogen is intended for transport, forklift trucks and the decarbonization of combined heat and power; the process heat is to be fed into the district heating network. Sustainable Hydrogen positions Berlin as a large-scale consumer of sustainable hydrogen and contributes to the implementation of the energy transition both as an operating company and through its engineering sister company HERE. The Managing Director is Dr. Ing. Jörg Buisset, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Initiative H2Berlin e.V. The company's environment includes partners such as Gasag, Berliner Stadtwerke, Berliner Wasserbetriebe, BSR, ENERTRAG, ONTRAS, H2 Mobility and BER Airport.
