About S4 International
S4 International GmbH is a provider of industrial automation solutions based in Aachen. The company was founded in 2023 as a joint venture between S4 Integration (Pty) Ltd and Daten- und Systemtechnik GmbH (DSA), combining experience in plant and special-purpose machine engineering with DSA's expertise in end-of-line testing, data management and industrial niche software. The offering includes turnkey solutions: assembly systems for seats, door panels, cockpits, batteries, headliners as well as differential and CV axles, automated welding cells with industrial robots (including CMT, GMAW/MAG, TIG, projection and ultrasonic welding), laser marking, machine vision, robotic punching, balancing machines with partner CIMAT, as well as smart warehousing and shopfloor control systems. Special tools and components are manufactured in the company's own machine shop; the manufacturing site of the group is located in South Africa. Customers include automotive OEMs as well as Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers in Europe and worldwide.
