Sägewerk Lampe GmbH in Petershagen-Ovenstädt is a long-established family business that has existed since 1931. As a link between forestry and the timber industry, the company mainly processes beech and oak hardwood of various grades and dimensions into sawn timber. The product range includes oak sawn timber for construction (square timbers, ceiling beams, planks, boards, shuttering), beech sawn timber for the packaging industry (pallets, packaging materials) as well as dimension-cut solid wood for the furniture industry. In addition, contract sawing for companies and private individuals, cross-cutting and stacking services as well as firewood in the form of slab bundles, slab goods, board goods and wooden blocks are offered. Thanks to a constant annual stock of roundwood on site, short-term delivery capability is also ensured. The sawmill sources its certified roundwood exclusively from domestic forests managed sustainably and works closely with German forestry. The company is a member of the German Saw and Timber Industry Federation (Deutscher Säge- und Holzindustrie Bundesverband e.V.).
