About Saltigo
Saltigo GmbH is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specialized in fine chemicals and a 100-percent subsidiary of LANXESS SE. The company develops and produces active ingredients and complex intermediates – from early process development through piloting and scale-up to industrial commercial production. The technology platform includes complex multi-step syntheses, high-pressure hydrogenation, metathesis and flow chemistry, phosgenation, halogenation, and numerous other specialized reaction techniques. Customers come from the crop protection, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemicals industries (including Advanced Materials, battery materials, catalysts, Consumer Care). Around 1,100 employees work in Leverkusen and Dormagen at CHEMPARK, one of the largest integrated chemical parks in Europe. In addition to custom manufacturing, Saltigo offers a portfolio of fine chemical intermediates as well as the insect repellent active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin).
