About the Salzer Gruppe
The Salzer Gruppe is a medium-sized, family-owned Austrian group of companies headquartered in St. Pölten, whose subsidiaries are consolidated under the umbrella of TOSACO GmbH. The three divisions comprise the production of book, design, technical and packaging papers (Salzer Papier), the manufacture of molded parts from EPS, EPP and PS/PE (Salzer Formtech) and technical services in electrical engineering, mechanics and mechatronics for industry and trade (Salzer Industrie Service). At the Stattersdorf site, around 30,000 tonnes of paper are produced annually, with a focus on woodfree printing papers for book manufacturing as well as virgin fiber board with an optional grease barrier for food packaging. The molded part production ranges from packaging parts and construction elements and lost formwork to specially coated molded parts for the electronics industry. The company's roots go back to the founding of the Upper Paper Mill on the Traisen river in 1579.
