About us
Salzgitter Energy Services GmbH, based in Salzgitter, offers online blast cleaning using a novel metal-free blasting method based on pyrotechnics. The blasting system achieves explosion velocities corresponding to the detonation of a gas balloon, meaning damage to the pipes can largely be ruled out. Pressure wave, sound wave and gas volume are comparable to the blasting of detonating cord in aluminium pipes. Thanks to its cylindrical shape, the system can also be used inside pipe bundles and is universally applicable in three different sizes. Furthermore, the blasting method can be individually adapted to every plant and requirement. The company regards its system as more than a full-fledged alternative to conventional explosives and gas balloons for cleaning pipes and plants in the energy sector.
