SAMVAZ SA was founded in 1964 in La Tour-de-Peilz and has been based in Châtel-Saint-Denis in the canton of Fribourg since 1990. The company, with 140 employees, manufactures in the field of metalworking fastening systems for sanitary, heating, cooling, ventilation and electrical installations (PIPEX brand), formwork systems for concrete construction (SAM brand), planer blades (TERSA brand) and hand tools for woodworking (RALI brand). In addition, custom fasteners, welded frame structures and pre-assembled modules are produced, such as the heat and cold distribution modules for the PLACAD district heating plant in Fribourg. The products are manufactured in Switzerland from locally sourced materials; the CNC machines required for this are partly developed by Samvaz itself. A continuous wood bending machine with high-frequency glue curing also comes from in-house development. In addition to series production, the company delivers tailor-made workshop solutions for construction and energy.
