About Stammdesign

Stammdesign Tischmanufaktur is a wood manufactory based in Perwang am Grabensee in the state of Salzburg. The manufactory handcrafts one-of-a-kind furniture from solid, whole tree trunks, including dining tables, desks, coffee tables, reception desks, kitchens, washbasin units, seating furniture, lamps and sculptures. The wood comes from trees in the region that must be felled anyway due to reasons such as age, disease or storm damage. From the trunks, basic elements such as tree-trunk slabs, trunk cross-sections, segments and root stocks are cut, dried, cut to customer dimensions, filled with epoxy resin, sanded and treated with oil. Typical dimensions for dining tables are 2.5 to 3 meters in length. Customers come from the residential sector, gastronomy, hospitality, office and business environments as well as retail store construction.
