About SANJO GROUP
SANJO GROUP is a multinational family-owned company based in Sant Andreu de la Barca (Barcelona) specialising in precision technologies for fineblanking. The company manufactures metal parts with high dimensional accuracy up to 16 mm thickness on 22 fineblanking presses up to 1,100 t of press force. The value chain includes design and manufacture of progressive blanking tools, CNC machining with tolerances down to 0.002 mm, heat treatment, deburring and surface finish as well as robot-assisted assembly of subassemblies. Two independent heat treatment plants treat more than 9,000 t of steel components per year with temperature homogeneity of ±6 °C. 80% of production is exported to 34 countries on four continents. The customer industries lie mainly in the automotive and electromobility industry (EV, hybrid and hydrogen vehicles), the energy technology sector and the electric power tool industry. Besides the production site in Virginia Beach (USA), the company operates sales offices in Stuttgart, Detroit, Querétaro (Mexico) and Shanghai.
