Sanomed is a mid-sized, owner-managed contract manufacturer of liquid dietary supplements, foods for special medical purposes and beverage concentrates in the Health, Sport and Beauty sectors. The full-service offering includes recipe and product development in its own research laboratory, regulatory affairs, product management as well as contract manufacturing: blending of aqueous to highly concentrated solutions, dispersing and emulsifying, pasteurization, bulk production and filling into plastic ampoules and bottles with 10 to 1000 ml filling volumes. In addition, combination packs of liquid with capsules or tablets as well as primary and secondary packaging with coating, finishing and printing options are offered. Production takes place in the new building completed in 2020 at the headquarters in Vöhringen with administration, production wing and large warehouse; approx. 140 employees produce more than 35 million units per year. Quality assurance is carried out according to HACCP with batch-related documentation, stability testing and an in-house microbiology laboratory.

Quality
Sanomed operates according to the HACCP concept with internal audits, process and hygiene controls, incoming goods inspection, environmental monitoring and complete batch documentation. Stability tests (chemical, physical, microbiological, sensory) are carried out partly in the company's own microbiology laboratory, partly in cooperation with accredited laboratories.

Company founded in Neu-Ulm.
- 2000–2010
Launch of the first 25-ml PET ampoule on the market; production increased to over 20 million units; obtainment of DIN EN ISO 9001 and IFS certifications.

20th anniversary: over 100 employees and more than 35 million units produced (15–1000 ml) per year.
