Sascha Hörr Edelstahlhandel e.K. is a specialist dealer and manufacturing operation for stainless steel, based in Schleiden-Dreiborn in the Eifel region. Through an online shop with more than 10,000 items, the company distributes stainless steel tubes, profiles, fittings, railing accessories, ropes, chains and exhaust accessories, with around 95% of goods held in stock. In its own facility, tubes and profiles are cut to size on fully automatic bandsaws (standard lengths 25–600 cm, miter cuts up to 60°), drilled on a tube drilling machine and threaded using the flow-drilling (Fließloch) process with threads M4–M12. Certified welders carry out TIG manual welding; for railing post production, a self-developed post orbital welding machine is available. In addition to the assembly of railings for self-installation (stainless steel plug-screw system) and rope assembly with swaged terminals, stainless steel custom-made products are produced for railing construction, garden gates, sun sail poles, door handles, exhaust construction and the object/contract business. The materials include V2A (1.4301/1.4541) and V4A (1.4404, AISI 316). The company is certified to DIN EN 1090-1 (CE marking) and operates with welder certification to DIN EN 1090-2 for metal and railing construction. In 2018 the company moved into the converted former Hirsch clothing factory in Schleiden-Dreiborn.
