About SAV Schaltanlagen- und Verteilerbau GmbH
SAV Schaltanlagen- und Verteilerbau GmbH, based in Lichtentanne (Saxony), has been developing and manufacturing customised switchgear assemblies and power distribution boards for building infrastructure since 1992. The range of services extends from concept development, planning and calculation through project engineering to execution and manufacture of low-voltage main distribution boards (NSHV) based on systems from SIEMENS (SIVACON S8), ABB Striebel & John, Schneider and Logstrup. A key focus is high-current switchgear construction with rated operational currents up to 7000 A, for example for data centres. In addition, the company offers a switchgear service: inspection, maintenance and optimisation of existing installations. In 2019, SAV commissioned a new company building that provides the technical prerequisites for Industry 4.0, including automation of processes, integration with ERP systems and computer-integrated manufacturing. Reference customers include Siemens, Saint-Gobain, TU Darmstadt, Leipzig Zoo (Gondwanaland), Clarios in Zwickau, Xylem Analytics, ABB Striebel & John and AKASOL.
