About SAVUNA GmbH

SAVUNA GmbH, based in Augsburg, develops and distributes the grass grid according to Ing. Prestele®, a honeycomb system for stabilizing and resealing of utility surfaces such as lawn, parking and commercial areas. The honeycomb panels are manufactured exclusively from single-variety, UV-stable and groundwater-neutral HDPE recycled material and are 100 % Made in Germany – since 1994. Product features include patented star-shaped ground openings for maximum water flow and root penetration, a honeycomb chamber of 5 cm height, anti-slip studs and 14 ground anchors per panel to secure against slipping; one panel weighs approx. 1250 g. In addition to the grass grid, the company offers further products with Sterisafe & Toolsafe as well as research & development and comprehensive consulting on the purchase and use of the products. The company is certified according to EN ISO 13485.
