SAW Airwalls GmbH develops and installs industrial air walls (Airwalls) for the separation of temperature zones, for energy savings and for the reduction of draughts, odors, dust and moisture. The systems are based on laminar flow technology and seal openings and passageways barrier-free with air, allowing people, forklifts and logistics vehicles to pass through unhindered. The systems are used for thermal insulation, cold insulation, odor and smoke sealing, insect protection and thermal separation of temperature zones. The company offers standardized product lines with Airwall Grand (large gates), Airwall Compact (all-in-one air wall) and Airwall Move (mobile air wall for refrigerated transporters). Design is carried out, among other things, using CFD simulations and full-scale experiments. In addition, SAW-Airwalls provides maintenance, UVV inspections, retrofit, efficiency upgrades, spare parts supply and control system modernization for existing LWT systems. The company is headquartered in Mönchengladbach, with another location in Hilden. The company builds on the LWT GmbH, active since 1996, which realized over 2,000 air wall installations in Europe and the USA.
