About SAXONIA Technical Materials
SAXONIA Technical Materials GmbH develops and produces technical materials based primarily on the special properties of silver, special non-ferrous metals and their alloys. The product portfolio includes contact materials and contact semi-finished products – from fine silver through silver-nickel and silver-graphite to silver-tin oxide – in the form of wires, profiles and contact pads. These silver-containing functional materials are indispensable for the manufacture of electrical contacts in switching applications. In addition to the production of semi-finished products, the range of services also includes precious metal processing including recycling. The products are used, among other things, in the lighting and electronics industries, in automotive engineering as well as in energy and automation technology. SAXONIA Technical Materials GmbH is part of the SAXONIA Group, whose companies cover all product fields relating to the production factor of precious metals.
