SBE System-Bau-Elemente Vertriebs GmbH, based in Munich, has been distributing ZETA purlins and wall rails for industrial building construction since 1984 and is the exclusive distributor of Ayrshire Metals Ltd. (Ayrshire Metal Products Plc.), a UK manufacturer of lightweight steel profiles with more than 60 years of experience. The portfolio comprises roll-formed roof and wall solutions (ZETA, ZETA II, ZED, C, CB, CN and CW rails, eaves profiles such as Eaves Beam, TPP, TPN, box gutter, hat profile and frame), SB multi-purpose girders for platform and floor systems, the modular steel frame system AyrFrame, as well as complete lightweight steel buildings and substructures for photovoltaics, solar carports and wind turbine platforms. The profiles are manufactured from hot-dip galvanised strip steel (including S450GD to DIN EN 10346) by roll forming and are delivered ready for installation, punched and cut to length. SBE accompanies projects from preliminary design through free, verifiable structural calculations and CAD detailing to logistics to the construction site; production takes place weekly at the plant in England. The design of the ZETA purlin systems is based on theoretical investigations, calculations and full-scale tests as well as type testing with load tables based on EC3. In AyrFrame production, strict quality standards are applied at all production stages up to dispatch; quality management is supervised by SBE staff in the technical office.
