About SBRS

SBRS is a provider of integrated charging solutions for electric vehicle fleets and a company of the Shell Group. The offering covers the planning, implementation and operation of depot charging infrastructure for electric buses, heavy commercial vehicles and boats/electric ferries. With PowerHub 500, SBRS offers a modular, liquid-cooled DC charging system for truck depots that scales from two charging points at one Power House to six; the PowerPack 500 product was introduced as a complement. Services include smart charging and energy management for depots as well as TCO consulting with calculation tools for comparing diesel and electric fleets. Customers include, among others, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe, ALDI SÜD, Autobus Oberbayern, Contargo, Munich Airport and HCR Herne. Projects have been implemented in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands; in 2026 the company expanded into Switzerland. SBRS has been awarded, among others, the German Innovation Award 2026 (PolarStation) and the CNA Innovation Award (Contargo project).
