SBS BatterieSystem GmbH, headquartered in Soest, is one of nine sales and service offices of the Sunlight Group in Germany. The company supports customers from consulting and planning through the production and installation of custom battery systems to maintenance, repair and refurbishment. The product portfolio includes lead-acid and lithium-ion traction batteries, block batteries, complete charging systems, accessories for uninterrupted battery change systems, and digital solutions for intelligent energy management based on IoT technology. Areas of application are primarily intralogistics and industrial trucks, logistics centers, cold chains, maritime, rail, agricultural and construction machinery, as well as critical infrastructure such as data centers and uninterruptible power supply. The battery systems are produced in the plants of the Sunlight Group, among others in Xanthi (Greece) and Greensboro (USA), with its own recycling capacity for lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.
