About SBS Sondermaschinen
Since 1993, SBS Sondermaschinen GmbH has been developing and manufacturing special machinery, automation systems and test bench technology as one-off solutions through to small series at its Braunschweig site. The portfolio includes special machinery construction with a high degree of vertical integration, testing and analysis technology such as seat, belt and hydraulic test benches and pressure testing in immersion tanks, explosion-proof (Ex) systems construction, vacuum filling technology, switchgear and control engineering as well as fixture construction for assembly and welding. Manufacturing is carried out under CNC control on milling and turning machines from Hurco and Spinner; materials processed range from steel to felt, foam and PVC through to copper. Design with EPLAN P8 and SolidWorks as well as programming with STEP 7, TIA Portal, C++ and Codesys are part of the company's own range of expertise. Customers come from industry, research and development, the automotive industry, well construction/civil engineering and photovoltaics; another product is the solar carport with steel support structure and glass-in-glass modules.
