SC Preußen 06 e. V. Münster

About the club

SC Preußen 06 e. V. Münster was founded on 30 April 1906 by pupils of the Johann-Conrad-Schlaun-Gymnasium as FC Preußen. The professional football department has been spun off into Sportclub Preußen Münster 06 GmbH & Co. KGaA since 2018; the first team plays in the 3. Liga and was promoted to the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga in 2024 after 33 years. With around 15,000 members, the club offers, in addition to football (professionals, U23, youth teams U12–U19), departments for athletics, handball, fistball, tennis, futsal, darts and e-sports. The home venue is the Preußenstadion, opened in 1926 on Hammer Straße in the Berg Fidel district, where the club office and the training pitches for football and tennis are also located. The offering includes tickets, fan shop, stadium tours, events/VIP hospitality, children's programmes and a tutoring centre at the LVM-Preußenstadion. The operation is purely sport- and service-oriented; there is no manufacturing programme or production process.
