About us
Schaberreiter GmbH is a family-run company founded in 1997 by Karl Schaberreiter in Kindberg (Styria) that produces ready-mix concrete and construction materials. The portfolio comprises normal and heavy concrete according to ÖNORM B4710-1 as well as guideline concretes such as architectural concrete, watertight structures (white tank), self-compacting and lightweight-compacting concrete (SCC/ECC), fibre concrete with steel or PP fibres, lightweight concrete with bulk density 400–2000 kg/m³, special concretes (backfill material SSM/SVM, single-size aggregate concrete, drainage concrete, cement screed) as well as sand, gravel and crushed stone. Production takes place at the company's own concrete mixing plant using regional raw materials, since 2019 partly from the company's own dolomite quarry in Langenwang (50% stake in Steinbruch Langenwang GmbH). An in-house fleet of truck mixers, truck mixer cranes and truck-mounted concrete pumps (boom lengths 24–52 m) delivers directly to the construction site in the Bruck/Mürzzuschlag district and the Leoben area. Quality is ensured in the company's own laboratory through fresh concrete and hardened concrete testing; the company carries the ÜA mark of BauCert Steiermark. With 30 employees (as of 2021), Schaberreiter supplies projects ranging from railway stations to wind farms and industrial construction.

Normal concrete / heavy concrete according to ÖNORM B4710-1
Standard ready-mix concrete for daily use in structural and civil engineering, externally monitored according to ÜA certificate.
Lightweight concrete
Building material with bulk density 400–2000 kg/m³ for mineral single-leaf construction and insulation, free of plastics.
Architectural concrete
Concrete according to ÖBV guidelines for demanding exposed surfaces in building construction.
White tank
Watertight concrete for structures without additional waterproofing.
Self-compacting and lightly compacting concrete (SCC/ECC)
Flowable concrete for dense reinforcement and complex component geometries without vibration.
Fibre concrete (steel fibre, PP fibres)
Concrete with fibre addition to increase crack width limitation and load-bearing capacity.
Backfill material SSM/SVM
Pumpable, self-compacting backfill material for cavities, backfilling and bedding without compaction.
