Schäfer Elektronik GmbH, headquartered in Achern (southern Germany), develops and manufactures industrial power supplies and power electronics: AC/DC and DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, AC/AC frequency converters, battery chargers and power supply systems from 100 W to 100 kW (modular up into the megawatt range), thyristor-controlled chargers from 500 W to 500 kW, and active harmonic filters for mains compensation.
