About Schäper Sportgerätebau
Schäper Sportgerätebau GmbH has been manufacturing sports equipment at its Münster/Roxel site since 1960. The product range includes football goals in various sizes (training, youth, small-pitch and mini football goals), heading pendulums with single- or double-sided suspension, ball stop fences made of aluminium and steel, pass-through gates for ball stop systems, players' benches, ground sockets and training equipment such as the FUNino pitch marking. Manufacturing is carried out using aluminium profiles (oval profile 120 x 100 x 2.5 mm, rectangular profile 75 x 50 x 3 mm, round profile Ø 60/50 mm) as well as steel S355; joints are made of cast aluminium. The joining technology comprises full and partial welding of the profiles as well as bolted, detachable constructions. Surfaces are stove-enamelled or hot-dip galvanised. In addition to new production, the company offers on-site repairs, welding work, the general overhaul of used football goals (including third-party products) and proper disposal. The service portfolio also includes the planning of sports facilities, construction and design of the profiles and equipment, structural calculations (type statics for ball stop systems up to 10 m in height) and customised special constructions such as impact protection walls made of polycarbonate. Customers include clubs, schools and municipalities in sports field construction.
