About Schalbau Vitzthum
Schalbau Vitzthum is an owner-managed family business founded in 1969, now in its third generation, headquartered in Unken (Salzburg region). The company produces construction supplies for the building industry, including the patented SAM formwork system, cellar windows with timber cladding, light shafts, texture matrices, rebar couplers, anchor materials, spacers made of fibre-reinforced and cast concrete, as well as a panel cleaning machine. In addition, Vitzthum acts as a trading partner for European building material and machine manufacturers and sells construction machinery such as stone cutting machines, rebar bending and tying machines, cut-off saws and construction equipment. Manufacturing takes place in the production hall at the Unken site; sales are handled through seven own branches throughout Austria with short delivery times of 1 to 3 days for stock items. Customers include construction companies, the precast concrete industry and building renovation; deliveries are made to Austria and neighbouring countries. Custom-made products are available on request.
