About Schalk Steuerungstechnik

Schalk Steuerungstechnik GmbH is a medium-sized company founded in 1983 and based in Westerheim in the Allgäu region (Bavaria). The company develops and manufactures electronic control components for electrical installation, building services and industrial automation. The product portfolio includes motor controls for roller shutters, venetian blinds and gates, dimmers and lighting time switches including DALI control devices, measuring relays and sensors for wind, light, temperature and current, mains field disconnection switches (net disconnection switches), relays and impulse switches, time relays as well as radio and radio linking systems (Fx3, Wireless Wire®). All products are developed and manufactured at the Westerheim site – under the "Made in Germany" quality seal – and distributed worldwide via the electrical wholesale trade. In addition to its standard range, Schalk offers custom developments, special versions and OEM manufacturing. In August 2025, the company passed to new owners of the second generation: Daniel Classen and Florian Barth took over the GmbH and are focusing on product development, digitalization and internationalization.
